Greece & Turkey trip with my boy Sam - good times

The beautiful island of Rhodes, which is just of the southern coast of Turkey, a stunning view around every corner.
I painted the view first in oil, then in watercolor just to see how they would contrast.
Sat for about an hour waiting for the right shot ... thanks for putting up with your dads obsessions Sammy.

A new commission, a Jack Russell Pup, unfortuntley deceased - had a disagreement with a bus, poor little guy. Hope painting will bring back fond memories.

Robin red breast and latest paintings

Received a commission to do a Robin from a guy who wanted a gift for his wife - when she sees a robin it reminds her of her mum who died recently.
I started in acrylic with the intention of finishing in oil, but decided it went quite well in acrylic and the softness I was worried about not achieving in acrylic seems to have worked ok. The other acrylic paintings are small (a little larger than A4) I wanted to test my new traveling easel, which is basically a board siting on a photographic tripod.
