Christmas portraits ...

Well the recession may still be on but I have been pretty busy with portraits for Christmas.
Stuarts Girls

Think this will be my last Christmas in the UK as I'm starting to miss home, keep thinking about painting trips to the Flinders Ranges and beyond, where there is peace and quiet, only the occasional kangaroo or emu passing by as I soak up the incredible vista's, can't wait...

A few recent pics, the Tower Bridge only lasted a week and is now sold, enjoyed working in Acrylic again and tried to keep it really loose.

Just completed another dog, really quite enjoyed it as I had great reference.
Spent last Sunday down the Thames painting, it was low tide so was able to get down on the san/mud. really nice perspective from there, will post the the resulting watercolour and photos soon. A few more recent works ...

A few new pics

Still going 'hammer and tongs' at New City Gallery a few of my latest...

I have booked myself on a an overland trip back to Oz which will take about six months, and I can't wait. The plan is to paint along the way so I decided that watercolours  are the only medium which is practical. As I haven't done any for so many years I thought I better get practicing.

You can see some of the results at Latest Paintings
... I would really appreciate some honest feed back.

A couple of wide angle pics of London.
The reflection was taken at low tide I hope sloshing around in the mud was worth it. I'll be doing some prints of these 2 on canvas, about 1.5 metres wide.
